The interview itself is a little under a month old at this point, but this particular nugget was highlighted and praised on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resetera.com\/threads\/doug-bowser-says-diversity-is-important-to-nintendo-it-was-in-place-years-before-people-starting-using-the-dei-acronym-and-it-will-stay-in-place.1180596\/\">ResetEra<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was explicitly asked whether Nintendo had made any changes to its policy in the face of efforts from The Trump Administration to <a href=\"https:\/\/civilrights.org\/resource\/anti-deia-eos\/\">reduce DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives<\/a>.
