The so-called &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2024\/10\/pokemon-developer-game-freak-reportedly-hacked-massive-amounts-of-data-allegedly-leaked\">Teraleak<\/a>&#8216; was one of the largest in recent memory, and now it seems Nintendo is going after the person responsible (thanks for the heads up, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon\/561817\/pokemon-teraleak-nintendo-discord-subpoena\">Polygon<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/852242652\/GameFreakOUT-subpoena-via-Polygon\">subpoena document<\/a> submitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on 18th April 2025 (via Polygon), Nintendo requested that Discord reveal the identity of user &#8216;GameFreakOUT&#8217; \u2014 the party accused of leaking &#8220;confidential materials not released to the public&#8221; on the &#8216;FreakLeak&#8217; server.<\/p>\n<p>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2025\/04\/nintendos-on-a-mission-to-unmask-the-pokemon-teraleak-hacker\">full article on nintendolife.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Requesting Discord to cough up the deets.
